Nurseries and Schools

Did you know that reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a child’s future success?

The Sensory Storyteller CIC has had the pleasure of working with a wide range of nurseries and schools across Cheshire, Stoke, and Staffordshire.

We believe that before children can want to read, we must first ignite the fire within them. Every child deserves to experience the magic of books and storytime — to imagine new worlds, explore language and ideas, and connect with others through stories.

Through our sensory storytelling sessions, we help children develop school readiness by building essential social and emotional skills such as turn-taking, active listening, kindness, patience, and empathy as well as nurturing a love of reading for life.

SEN

Multisensory storytelling empowers children with a wide range of Special Educational Needs by making the magic of storytime and books more accessible. It allows them to engage with the world around them in ways that are often not inclusive.

Through multisensory storytelling, children have the opportunity to meet their social, emotional, physical, sensory, and communication needs, all while developing a deeper understanding of various subjects. Whether using classic children’s stories that have been adapted or entirely original tales, these experiences create a rich, inclusive learning environment. Click here to enquire about these sessions.
