Welcome to The Sensory Storyteller CIC, a Community Interest Company based across Stoke, Staffordshire and Cheshire that is dedicated to bringing the joy of storytime to life, for every child. Each session is designed to engage and excite through a multisensory approach, allowing every child to experience stories like never before. The mission at The Sensory Storyteller CIC is to foster a love for reading and imagination, making every story a magical adventure.
Delivered by a qualified SEN/ Early Years Teacher, sessions are planned using early interaction and communication strategies and tailored to meet the diverse needs of all participants. Storytime can be a profound experience, helping to develop literacy skills while also nurturing emotional and social growth. As children interact with stories through various sensory elements, they become not only listeners but also active participants in their learning journey.

The class was like no other class we’ve been to - a story brought to life with props, Makaton, music / songs, bubbles and lots of fun. The Peter Pan Centre
Couldn't recommend enough! Hayley worked with children aged 4-11 with additional needs and all of the sessions were planned beforehand and adapted beautifully for each age range and to meet all of the children's needs. All children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and joined in!

The best baby group I found whilst on MAT leave. Hayley and Lisa are both absolutely amazing, they care for the babies but more importantly, they care for the parents! Beautiful sessions!

As a new first time mum, I was a bit daunted as I'd had a negative experience at another sensory class but I needn't have worried. Hayley creates such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Hayley also came to my son's 1st birthday party and all the kids loved the safari themed story and props. I was gutted to go back to work as we can't attend anymore. I'd recommend The Sensory Storyteller to any new parents - you won't be disappointed!

Hayley's classes are fantastic- makaton and singing, and of course a book each session with matching items to stimulate senses. I found it a good way encourage baby development without being overstimulating.
